The Australian Blockchain Global Limited has carried out investments in bitcoins into DigitalX financial technical-startup
The general amount of investments into DigitalX has made AU$4,35 million ($3,29 million) from which AU$300 000 have been contributed in the form of the convertible loan in bitcoins. The remained sum has been distributed on convertible bonds (AU$550 000) and the stocks DigitalX (AU$3,8 million).
Thus, Blockchain Global Limited has acquired 40% of a share in DigitalX which shares bargain on the Australian stock exchange (ASX).
Blockchain Global Limited was known as Bitcoin Group earlier and earlier repeatedly tried to come for the IPO. Rebranding has been carried out after the company has expanded activity and, having gone beyond only bitcoin-mayninga, today also renders consulting services and operates a corporate incubator of startups.
Within the transaction of Blockchain Global Limited I have also received management of client base DigitalX.
We will remind, in May, 2016 DigitalX announced entry into the market of Latin America of a blokcheyn-application of AirPocket which the company also called "Uber of money transfers".
In July of the same year it became known of the charges of fraud brought by the American law enforcement agencies to the co-founder of DigitalX Zhenya Tsvetnenko. In spite of the fact that Tsvetnenko denied all these charges, the companies he nevertheless has left a position of the CEO.
