ঘুম উধাও চোখ থেকে,
হৃদয়ে দিচ্ছে নাড়া—
অদ্ভুত এক ভালোলাগা।
নিশির আঁধারে চাঁদের আলোয়
তোমাকে লাগছে আরো ভালো,
তোমার কন্ঠের সুরে—
হৃদয় আমার সুখে নাচে।
আমি চাই শুধু—
আজীবন তুমি থাকো পাশে,
ভালোবাসা হোক শান্ত নদীর মতো
তুমি আমি মিলে হবো একত্রিত।

ভাঙা পথেও থাকে নূর,
ছায়া নামে, রাতের শেষে
আলো জ্বলে নিঃশব্দ ক্লেশে।
চোখে দেখা যায় না যা
হৃদয়ে তার দ্যুতি অপার,
অদৃশ্য আলো, স্নিগ্ধ তাপ
তবু সে দেয় প্রেমের ছাপ।
স্মৃতির খামে রোদ জমে
আলো খেলে জীবন ঘামে,
জীবন এমন নির্বাক সুধা
কখনো ব্যস্ত, কখনো স্থির।
