Eid celebration

Assalam O Alaikum my dear sisters and brothers! Hope you enjoyed Eid ul Adha . I am here to share my Eid celebration with you. I wish you very very Eid Mubarak. Let's start.

On this Eid, I spend my Eid ul Adha day with great happiness and joy. In the early morning, we all family members woke up early in morning, offered namaz Fajar, reciting Holy Quran and took dars about Eid ul adha. Then offered Eid prayer in mosque. After that er eay sweet rice pudding. Then we performed the qurbani of a goat. It was a very special and spiritual experience. We divided the meat into three parts, one for the poor, one for relatives and one for ourselves. My family members worked with love and joy. Then we prepared delicious food and shared it with neighbors. I really enjoyed that day. Later, we visited our close relatives and spent good time with them. This Eid was filled with faith, love and togetherness.

Before Eid ul-Adha, we started preparing a few days in advance. We bought new clothes for children and also for us. Children are very excited for wearing new dress with different kind of jewelry. Children also wear clips, ponia, hair band, watch and many more. My mother and sisters also prepared spices and grocery items for the Eid dishes. We were very excited and make sure everything was ready on time. One night before Eid, we cleaned all house, we arranged things and slept with joy in our hearts.

On Eid day, I enjoy different kinds of foods. I lik mutton karah, mutton kourma and mutton with different vegetables. Eid comes with alot happiness. My favourite moment of Eid ul Adha was qurbani. When we all together for offer the sacrifice, I felt a deep connection with the story of Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). It told me of true faith, obedience and sacrifice. The environment was calm and respectful. After the qurbani, we all worked together to divide and pack of meat. Then, when we sat together to eat the freshly cooked food, I felt so much love around me. That peaceful family time, full of smiles and blessings, was the most special and beautiful moment for me.

After completing our qurbani and lunch, we visited our relatives’ homes. We visited to uncle, aunt and cousins. Everyone welcome us warmly and served us with different foods and smiles. We also distributed meat among them and shared Eid greetings. Our some relatives also came to our house. The children were especially very happy. They were playing together and enjoying sweets. These visits brought joy and made us feel close to our loved ones. Eid feels more special when we meet and greet each other with love. I will always remember these happy moments with my family and relatives.
