PSL Final Karachi

On 25th March Karachi's National cricket stadium hosted the final of PSL. It was between two former champions Islamabad United the champions of the first season and Pashawar Zalmi last year's champions. There were 33,000 in attendance. The stadium was Lit.

This was the first time in 9 years that an international level match was hosted in Karachi and it didn't disappoint. The chants were epic and catchy it had all the fun with the Mexican waves and one hell of a closing ceremony with Ali zafar and strings performing.

All the management was top notch from the government and the paramilitary forces in security. We arrived at the alloted parking space 3 hours before the start after the security checking the shuttle busses arrived. We were dropped outside the stadium and entered the respective enclosure gates the enclosures were named after legendary cricketers which was pleasing.

The match was intense from the beginning and at the end of it all Islamabad came out Victor's of the Final. They were crowned the champions for the second time it was a beautiful moment seeing Misbah and Co celebrating with the fireworks going off.

In the end it was a victory for Pakistan as this match can be the pinnacle for the return of international cricket in Pakistan. I personally had a lot of fun and will remember the day for a long time.
