Ulog #24 Bagnet
Hi guys !
I was wondering what was for dinner and I saw my mom bring this out. This is what you call Bagnet. My Auntie gave it to us when she came from Ilocos.
I was watching my mom prepare it. She sliced it into pieces. She didn't add anything else to flavor it because it was already salted.
Look at all that fat!
And then she deep fried them.
While I am writing this. I am remembering biting through this piece of meat. It was so crunchy and it had a lot of flavors.
It just makes me think that I WANT MORE haha.
She also added salted eggs and tomatoes for our side dish to go with the bagnet.
All I can say is that I enjoyed that dinner!

Yes that is pork fat. They also call these chicharon in Ilocos. That's so true. We have to watch our Blood Pressure if we eat a lot. haha. THanks for dropping by
