STEEM Food Tours #69 Point and Grill Baguio City, Philippines

After our basketball game, we decided to go to this place called Point and Grill to eat dinner. It is located at Session Road, Baguio City. It was around 9 pm when we went there. A good thing was that they were still open.

This place a was very spacious, there were a lot of tables to choose from, that made the ambiance really comfortable.

These was their menu. With 99 php or 1.94 United States Dollar it can already get you a meal. Most of the food here were Filipino food. There a lot of varieties of food from Appetizers, Kapampangan Specialties, Seafoods, Vegetables, Rice, Beef, Pork, CHicken, soup, merienda, pancit, soup, beverages and dessert.

We only faced one problem when ordering from here. They only served soup dishes that late at night, so we were forced to get something with soup. While waiting I was taking photos of the place. The meaning of "Ituro mo.. Ihaw ko" is the "You Point.. I'll grill". I kinda sucks that we were not able to order grilled food.

They had this light on top. One whole side was just full of mirrors.

I noticed they had a promo if you add 1 Php to the meal it could get you an extra cup of rice but it's only valid for one refill only.

All of us ordered Sinigang. Sinigang is actually soup that has a sour and savoury taste and is mostly associated with tamarind.

This was what my girlfriend ordered, Sinigang na Bangus. There were a lot of vegetables in this dish.

Me and my coworkmate ordered Sinigang na baka(Beef). Look at all that fat present in it.




Overall, the dish was delicious. It was pleasantly sour but it was very savory at the same time but here's another problem that I encountered, I was expecting it to be served very hot but it was just warm. I guess they were rushing because it's almost closing time so I just ate it. One meal costs 139 Php or 2.72 United States Dollar. There were a lot of vegetables present but I felt like that they should add more meat.

Before we left they were already cleaning. We took a little longer because they punched in the wrong thing in our receipt. A good thing was that the management acted fast. I guess it kinda sucks to eat at a restaurant when they're about to close.
