I have been eyeing this robber fly for a long time or often called the assasin fly, some time ago I had seen it but failed to photograph this insect, Suddenly I saw it again this afternoon, this is a lucky day of course, I immediately took some photos to add to my album collection.
Male Promachus yesonicus have a white cotton-like bud at the end of their tails, while females do not. Adults can reach 23–30 millimetres (0.9–1.2 in) in length.
Promachus yesonicus is found throughout Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa. They are visible from June to September.

Well, here are some photos that I show tonight, leave your comments or tell me your experiences maybe you've come across this fly.
The Asilidae are the robber fly family, also called assassin flies. They are powerfully built, bristly flies with a short, stout proboscis enclosing the sharp, sucking hypopharynx.[1][2] The name "robber flies" reflects their notoriously aggressive predatory habits; they feed mainly or exclusively on other insects and, as a rule, they wait in ambush and catch their prey in flight.

In fact, you can do great macro photography, but it takes a lot of skill to do it.
That's right my friend, I'm also still learning to take pictures.
