Beauty of Creativity : Black and scarlet cicada (Huechys sanguinea) |10% beneficiary to @beautycreativity

Tonight I will share some photos of the red crickets that I got some time ago, This animal is called the Black and Scarlet Cicada, when it was perched on a wooden branch, It's the first time I've come across this insect, I really wanted to get lots of photos, but this cricket quickly flew away from me.

Huechys sanguinea can reach a length of about 2 cm. It is a small strikingly coloured cicada. The basic body color is deep scarlet with smoky-grey wings, but proboscis and limbs are deep black.

These crickets usually appear simultaneously in April. Its specific name comes from the Latin sanguis, Usually, the black and scarlet cicada won't threaten or hurt humans. But remember that even a worm will turn. Remember to still be cautious.
