A large prismatic source (USA)

Yellowstone National Park is an international biosphere reserve, which is of great interest to many people of the planet. Yellowstone is a huge field, on which there are a large number of geysers and thermal springs, among which there are the largest in the world.
First of all, a large prismatic source stands out in the park of ten thousand others, the most diverse geothermal sources with its contrasting colors. Due to the brightly colored organisms, chemical elements, bacteria and algae inhabiting the Great prismatic source, they form at the entrance to the surface of the lake a variety of shades, which throughout the day shimmer with all the colors of the rainbow.

The central part of the lake is completely sterile due to the high temperature. In this part, the large prismatic source is blue. Such a color of water is the result of scattering by the water molecules of the rays of daylight. A special contrast of blue color, unlike other similar reservoirs, is also obtained due to a combination of pure water and the depth of the lake.
