Will there be a TV series in 2020 that even brings the beauty of Better Call Saul closer?

Starting from each of these questions you will have an equally reassuring answer.
Comparing BCS with BB would have been a crime, injured majesty, 5 years ago.
Today, doubt is legitimate. BCS has really proven to be on the same level. To understand whether it is better or worse today is like saying whether Maradona was stronger than Pele or vice versa.
Lalo, Kim, Nacho.
3 sumptuous characters who never appeared in Breaking Bad.
How come? 3 characters who proved to be fundamental in Gilligan's expanded universe. What happened to them?
The obvious answer is that they're all dead.
But in Breaking Bad and BCS nothing is ever as obvious as this episode testified.
We assumed Lalo would die. We assumed Kim would be furious with Jimmy. We assumed a lot of things in this episode this season.
Everything has been turned upside down.
With extraordinary consistency, balancing the surprise effect with the narrative consistency.
The work was extraordinary.
Jimmy became Saul at the end of season four.
Kim became Jimmy in the finale of season five?
What's gonna happen to them?
Will they find a balance?
Lalo is a character who was created in BCS "just" to put a face to a name only once pronounced by Saul in Breaking Bad.
From the desire to give soul to a very small detail was born an extraordinary, very powerful character.
Will Lalo's thirst for revenge lead him back to Jimmy and Kim?
Will he kill the latter, if Kim is really dead before the series collides with BB?
What about Nacho?
Will Lalo come down on him with all his fury? If so, how's he gonna get caught up in Fring's business?
Only one season to go, and the realization is that in addition to creating an incredible background for Saul, Gilligan has managed to create wonderful secondary characters and to deepen wonderfully old "friends" like Mike and Fring.
It's hard to write about Better Call Saul because there are too many perfect things that happen in this TV series.

Confrontare BCS con BB sarebbe stato un delitto, lesa maestà, 5 anni fa.
Oggi è legittimo il dubbio. BCS si è davvero dimostrata allo stesso livello. Capire se sia meglio o peggio è oggi come dire se Maradona fosse più forte di Pelè o viceversa.

3 personaggi sontuosi ma mai apparsi in Breaking Bad.
Come mai? 3 personaggi che si sono rivelati fondamentali nell'universo espanso di Gilligan. Che fine hanno fatto?
La risposta più ovvia è che saranno tutti morti.
Ma in Breaking Bad e BCS nulla è mai ovvio come questo episodio ha testimoniato.
Davamo per scontato che Lalo sarebbe morto. Davamo per scontato che Kim sarebbe stata furiosa con Jimmy. Davamo per scontato tante cose in questo episodio, in questa stagione.
Tutto è stato capovolto.
Con una coerenza straordinaria, equilibrando l'effetto sorpresa con la coerenza narrativa.
Il lavoro è stato straordinario.
Jimmy diventava Saul sul finale della stagione 4.
Kim è diventata Jimmy sul finale della 5?
Cosa ne sarà di loro?
Riusciranno a trovare un equilibrio?
Lalo è un personaggio che è stato creato in BCS "solo" per dare un volto ad un nome pronunciato solo una volta da Saul in Breaking Bad.
Dalla voglia di dare anima ad un dettaglio piccolissimo è nato un personaggio straordinario, potentissimo.
La sete di vendetta di Lalo lo condurrà nuovamente da Jimmy e Kim?
Sarà lui ad uccidere quest'ultima, se davvero Kim sarà morta prima che la serie collida con BB?
E Nacho?
Lalo si abbatterà su di lui con tutta la sua furia? Se si, come si incastrerà con le faccende di Fring?
Manca una sola stagione e la consapevolezza è che oltre ad aver creato un background incredibile per Saul,Gilligan è riuscito a creare personaggi secondari stupendi e ad approfondire magnificamente vecchi "amici" come Mike e Fring.
E' difficile scrivere di Better Call Saul perchè sono troppe le cose perfette che accadono in questa serie tv.
