Please understand this is not Steem, this is Steem Backed Dollar. It has been trading at a premium for some time but it is meant to be pegged to the USD...

Yeah I understand that. But with the creation of the steem dollars would also influence the amount of money invested (or not in steem) and also since steemit only allow 50/50 or 100 for the creation of Steem power that would influence in the end the Value of Steem. Depending if People would be investing or not. I think.
