Thoughts on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network
Thanks @vegansilverstack for getting me thinking! I don't like Bitcoin...it's slow, it's expensive to move around etc.
Here's and update:
"The public alpha release Daemon was made on 10 January 2017. In April 2017, Syscoin has confirmed it has introduced the Lightning Network (LN) on its mainnet, becoming the first cryptocurrency to achieve the milestone. The Release Candidate (RC1) of the Lightning protocol was released on 6 December 2017."
d, I am going to HODL some Bitcoin!
Thanks for the mention :) upvoted and resteemed :D
Thanks for the resteem :)

Great info thanks for contributing!
I don't like anything to be centralized so I guess I will be buying alternatives.
I can understand your concern! Ultimately, Steem is likely the best blockchain of them all. I hope it branches out to be used as an alternative to BTC for store/transfer of value. I would like to see a stand alone wallet App! So much better than BTC!
Because it is #1, bitcoin gets attacked more than any other blockchain. That's part of the problem...
