Different between steemit and Facebook (and my question)

Before my friend introduced me to steemit, I was a lover n dedicated Facebook user, I spent almost all my time, charting, posting stuffs, liking and commenting on my friends post, without any benefit, I will put it in my own words, i was actually burning and wasting my perious time and data on Facebook, thou I was so blind to see that, until I was introduced to steemit

Before I proceed let me thank the likes of @haejin, @ejemai,@samstickkz etc for their sacrifices to the community n also to d-light
For tellin me about this platform.

Here comes the different
-my fact from a Facebook account

The owner of the picture above (Facebook account) had =

1- 653 likes

2- 60 comments

3- 2101 followers

4- Registered since on 2009

When you carefully look at the picture above and the breakdown(likes and comment), you will agree with me, if the person was actually on steemit, she would've made a huge some of money with that single post, but funny enough, she wasted her time and data without gaining a single kobo/cent, but still continue in her suicide mission.

Another Facebook user that had more likes n comments but ended up not benefiting/gaining from hes post

While the owner of this steemit account (@haejin) had:

1- 377 upvotes

2 - 86 comments

3 - 8209 followers

4 - Registered on June 2017

And has made $377.01 (at the time of writing this post) with just a single writeup, when you calculate $377 with the current rate of steem dollar, you will agree with me it's someone's salary for 2 to 4month.

My question

1 - will you still allow your brothers, sisters and friends to continue in their suicide mission on Facebook?

Or

2 - will you start promoting and introducing your friends, brothers, sisters, neighbors and even your enemies to this great community called STEEMIT?
