New Resource!!

In preparing yesterdays post, and going to page 4 or 5 of google results I finally found what I have been looking for. An electronic silver art bar website. There are a few books that were published, but they are hard to find and cost 100's of dollars now (An Indexed Guide Book of Silver Art Bars, A Complete Guide Book of Silver Art Bars, The Price Guide Of Silver Art Bars)

I like to find out details of my vintage rounds and bars, but stuggle to find reliable information for most. This site has work really well, and I recognize alot of the mint names of stuff I have looked for in the past. They have the bars and rounds sorted by mint, and have pictures of most of them and at over 5500 items that is a pretty significant resource. For each one they will list the resource or reference book it came from, year minted and mintage if known.

Track your own collection

They also appear to have the ability to track your collection of art bars in their database if your interested. I don't think I will use this feature as my stacking is more fluid and less of a collection. If I can turn 1oz in to 2oz, I usually go that route.

Final thoughts.

Check it out the next time you see some vintage rounds in your generic bin. Do a little digging and check out the unique history you can find.
