When I traveled to Singapore, one of the most famous local cuisines is crawfish. It is popular and they take great pride in the spices that are added to this specialty meal. I found it to be delicious, flavorful, and spicy.
In the deep south, crawfish are popular. I've been to a number of crawfish boil parties. I remember as a kid, we could take a piece of bacon and tie it on a string. We could dip it into a creek where there were holes in the mud. That would get the crawfish to grab onto the bacon. They we can pull the crawfish out because they wouldn't let go.
