A new pizza place opened up and the first time we tried it, we requested a take out and ate it in the car. It was a very soggy crust, but the toppings were pretty good.

We gave it a second chance and ate the pizza in the restaurant and that time it was quite tasty.

Last night, after running errands and running out of time to make dinner, we stopped by and the crust was burnt to a crisp. My son asked why the crust tasted like cardboard and I thought that was a good question. Often, I let it go, but this time I let the staff know and they readily made a new one that we ended up taking to go.

I realized the really thin California style pizzas are very tricky to cook to perfection!
