Best Memories @senseicat
During a lifetime, there are so many impermeable memories so I wonder what is one of your favorite memories?
When I was very young, my favorite person was my grandma. She played the piano and asked us to sing Jesus Loves Me, Jesus Loves The Little Children, and How Great Thou Art. I was quiet and confessed to my grandma that I could not sing and she responded, "Jesus does not mind, only that you do sing."
She was very old-fashioned and very lady-like. She used to teach (around 100 years ago) and never learned to drive a car. The only time she left the house was when someone went over to take her to appointments (doctor, hair, tailor, and grocery store.)
An interesting fact is that she would go to the dress maker and select fabrics, but every single dress was exactly the same. When we asked about it, she would reply, she knows what style looks best on her! Guess what? She definitely did because she always looked lovely.
Aside from being gentle, sweet, and endearing to everyone she met, she was filled with inner peace and grace.
Her belief and everlasting trust in God must have given her the ability to hold important people and things close to her heart and let everything else go.
I was told that I am the person who most resembles her, which is an amazing compliment, however; I feel that no one could truly embody her spirit and she had a uniqueness all her own.
How can one person influence our lives forever when there are so many people in our world?

@senseicat I just can't hold my tears in my eyes. You know my favorite person is also my GRANDFATHER. He is paralyzed being 13 years. He couldn't walk and couldn't eat himself. My grandmother looks after him still now. Please pray for my GRANDFATHER. Please. I want to see him well and happy.

Nice post. I like it your post
I can tell you had fond memories of your grandmother. She remains alive and well in your memories, in your heart, and in your life. Keep her close and remember her always.
Old persons lived simple life. They had no hunger of a lot of money and things like us. That is why they did love to others, remain loved among others and with inner peace.
