How to use Markdown: Lesson 1

If you're like me, just beginning in this bloggin world or not entirely computer literate and would like your posts to look more professional, stay a while and learn with me.
Today we're going to learn how to write in italics, bold and creating hypertext
First I went to Google and typed How to Markdown Styling Guide , I clicked on Mastering Markdown and went to work decoding all that gibberish.
So here it is you see the image above explains what I did to get the style in that text.
- 1 star on either side of you word will put it in italics (you can also use 1 dash on either side, it does the same thing).
- 2 dashes on either side of a word will make it bold (you can also use 2 stars on either side, it will do the same thing).
- For a hypertext type the text you want to be click-able in between brackets (the square parentheses), than put the actual link in between parentheses.
