Today, in Sri Lanka eggs are very expensive item. Those days we could by an egg for Rs. 12, but today we have to pay Rs. 60/- to buy an egg. Even though eggs are very expensive, the demand for them has not decreased. Eggs can be cooked in various ways. Some people prefer to eat boiled eggs, while others prefer to eat them as an omelet. Scrambled eggs in the western style are very popular among people in those countries. Half-boiled eggs, in my opinion, are the healthiest option.

Some argue that eggs are harmful to our health due to their high cholesterol content. However, some doctors believe that is incorrect. Eggs are a very healthy food for our bodies. Eggs are high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and protein, all of which are beneficial to our bodies. Doctors recommend eating 2 - 3 eggs per day to maintain good health. Eggs help to lower the risk of breast cancer. Furthermore, eggs are a rich source of minerals. Furthermore, they are a good source of lecithin. It also aids digestion and liver detoxification. Consuming more eggs can help you lose weight.

Because eggs contain Folic acid, they can reduce the risk of birth defects. As a result, pregnant women are especially advised to consume egg. Eggs benefit bone health because they contain more vitamin D and calcium. Eggs are beneficial not only to our bones, but also to the growth of our teeth.

Have you ever heard of the Dr. Wannaku method? Dr. Wannaku advises eating 3 to 4 eggs per day with coconut sambol and curd. He stated that getting such diet is very important in order to lose weight.

I prefer in addition to boiling eggs, omelets, bullseye, and half boiled eggs, I use to made egg curry by adding a boiled egg to white curry. Adding an egg to fried rice and noodles can enhance their flavor.
