Toaster
The toaster is an important invention that often does not get the credit it deserves. Without the toaster, we would not be able to have toast, heated bagels, or toaster strudels. Toasters make food taste more vibrant and help our taste buds detect toast’s deliciousness. The toaster can also assist in defrosting various edible products. The toaster is worthy of our appreciation because of its fight through history and because of how it enhances our meals.
The first reason why the toasters deserve more recognition is their constant battle throughout history. This means that they struggle to evolve and keep their place in households just as every other item does. Some of these include TVs, Phones, and refrigerators. All of these are seen as needed in a home and don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. So, why doesn’t the toaster come to mind when we think of products in our house? The answer is simple because the machine in itself is simple. It has one main job, and it is not for entertainment or to keep our room from smelling like moldy bread. The toaster toasts, and that it's only a real job. So, people don’t see the true glory behind the toaster from where it was invented to what it has become. The toaster started as a metal device and was held over a fire. Now toasters are electric and pop up, making them very convenient. All of these factors prove that the toaster’s travel through time has supplied it with a permanent and significant place in our kitchens.
Another example of the ignored necessity of the toaster is the fact that it makes our food much more desirable. Bread becomes tastier and more crunchy when toasted, the flavors being brought to the surface. Toasters also heat Pop-Tarts, making them gooey and causing them to become soft. Not to mention that toasters make bagels warm and melt the ice crust on toaster strudels. Most children would prefer not to have their orange juice with a slice of bread. They enjoy the other most pleasing options that the toaster provides. This is why the toaster should be treasured for its ability to improve the quality of food.
The toaster often gets passed over by eyes that are unaware of its true value. It needs to be allowed to have a greater place in many people’s thoughts for the role it plays daily. Without the toaster, plenty of things could not be accomplished. These would be toasting bread and warming up other breakfast foods. Because of its battle to advance in its development over time and its ability to make better the flavors of food, toasters have earned our gratitude.
