Son's traveled to the UK made me shock
Good day, my beloved friend. After a very long delay, I'm joining you today. My younger son traveled to the UK on October 2nd for a Ph.D. When he went, I was heartbroken. My entire mind was outraged. I'm unsure of what to do or where to begin. Still, the memory of his departure nags at me. My mind is still troubled by his love. I have always felt lifeless as well as longlines.
I just opened my laptop yesterday to get to work on Steemit. But I'm not mentally prepared for that. I only made a few comments and voted on a few posts before shutting down the laptop. In our religion, we are taught to let things happen as they may, but we are not prepared for that. That is the truth, how we let go. My son also advised me to start steemt. Today I get a firm decision to start writing.
Last year, my son received his engineering degree from the University of Moratuwa. He had greater academic goals in mind. Therefore, he applied for Ph.D. scholarships in the UK and USA. In any case, he was awarded a fully funded Ph.D. scholarship from the Nottingham Trent University of the UK.
He departed from us for four years. We are thankful for technology since it enables us to have video conversations with him and see him every day. We can somewhat control our thoughts thanks to this video calling. By this time, he has started his doctoral studies at that University. He said that the facilities of the university are incredibly outstanding and appealing. In the UK, it is currently autumn. Winter is the upcoming season. I'm worried about how he handled the winter.
Today for writing this post I take a long time, as the ideas not coming to my mind as usual. It is difficult for me to think clearly since my mind is racing. Anyhow, I'm going to finish writing this till I talk to you again tomorrow. Have a nice day you all.
Thanks for reading my post.
Good luck with his new beginning. he is one of my friends in the university. we were in the same batch.
You can take video calls with him until he returns. hope you will get back to normal life soon. I wish you all the strength to overcome from this sudden shock.
It is happy to hear that you are in the same batch. I will let my son inform about this good news putha. Thanks for your humble blessing.
Those four years will fly in no time.
I hope so. Appreciate your comment.
