My diary on 8th August 2023

Yesterday my son asked us to come to their house at midnight with cake and his gift, which was at my house, to celebrate his wife's birthday. Their house is about 75 meters away from ours. So, around 11.50 p.m., my husband and I went there with all of those items.

On other days, I bring our gifts too with them, but this day I pretended that I didn’t have any gift. As I planned to go their house early morning with the milk rice and gift. We returned from their house around 1 p.m. after cutting the birthday cake and wishing her a happy birthday. We went to bed after setting an alarm for 5.30 a.m. because I need to get up early to prepare milk rice.

Therefore, today, that means when the alarm goes off at 5.30 a.m. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to prepare milk rice. I made heart-shaped milk rice pieces as it was a lovely moment. Then washing our faces and drinking our tea, we went to my son’s house at around 7.30 a.m. with milk rice, lunu miris, a gift, and a birthday card.

When I knocked on the door, they were still sleeping, but after several attempts, my son opened the door. When I asked my son to wake up my daughter, she walked out of the room, squeezing her eye shut. She was surprised to see us with milk rice, a gift, and a card. When I handed over everything, she happily checked my card and gift. She said thank you, amma while inspecting the lounge, which I gladly offer her.

We returned home without wasting any time there and completed my other routine tasks. Later, we ate milk rice and went about our other business. Today I missed my workout session. After finishing my day's work, I spent a significant amount of time on steemit.

I went into the kitchen to prepare our usual rice and curry for lunch. We ate lunch and talked for a while after got out of the shower.

In the evening, we went to my sister's house with a birthday cake for them. Another relatives of them had arrived there, by the time we went there. They were accompanied by a small girl. My sister's grandson and that girl played. We were happily passing the time by watching them play.

We returned home late in the evening, watched television, ate dinner, and went to bed, saying goodbye to the beautiful day.
