Frugality
Saving does not imply greed or stinginess, but rather the ability to plan ahead of time. Most people nowadays have no idea how to save. Saving can start at home. Housewives used to be frugal.
In the past, I recall my mother taking a handful of rice she was cooking and placing it in a separate container. When the beggars come, she took some rice from it and gave it to them, or she used it in an emergency. Without throwing away the leftover rice at home, she washed, dried, and made delicious aggala. Such leftovers were also used to make atukos, salt and lime.
In this manner, our mother considers the first lesson of frugality. Savings can be difficult to keep track of in today's hectic world. However, if frugality becomes a habit, it will be a simple one to maintain.
Because the future crisis is uncertain, we must save the money we earn to be prepared. Even religious scholars preached that wealth, resources, and time should be saved to deteriorate. It will be a great victory in our lives if we can save a significant percentage of the money, we earn every month as a habit.
If a proper spending plan is created, it is an effective frugal system. You can meet your savings goal if you create a budget and save accordingly. Nowadays, technology has made it easier to manage our expenses by introducing several apps on our mobile phones.
Identify your needs and desires as the first step. Then, you can cut your less important expenses to balance your monthly expenses in your budget. You will be able to obtain the amount of money that you can spend every month for a variety of needs or wants in this manner.
We can practice reducing our daily market expenses to help build our domestic economy. We can also save unnecessary wasted electricity and water at home. That will benefit both our wallets and the country's economy.
Thus, we could practice frugal habits at home and thrift is essential in all activities of life. We can be thrifty and frugal not only at home but also in our office or workplace, which will help to enrich our future as well as provide a strong foundation for the economy's future.
