My view on this is that it depends on the point such observation is being considered. But nevertheless, balance should be strike in everything we do. Our pastors are worth our respect as well as our spouses.
Women giving more respect to their pastors than their spouses are understanding thing. If we have understanding spouses, there are things they call disrespect that are not.

Again, pastors should carry both spouses along so none will feel he or she is being disrespected by the other. They should take permission from the husband of any woman they needed her service in the work of the Lord. They should let the man be informed may be through telephone call or advance notice so he should not feel his wife respects the pastor more than him.
This is my view, what about yours?
