Eid celebration 🥰🥰

I am starting by wishing all my Steemit friends good health. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am doing very well. A great contest has been organized in the Steem Kids and Parents community. I will share my Eid moments with you through this contest. So let's get started.

How was your Eid day

Eid means joy, Eid means happiness. However, Eid-ul-Adha is a day of sacrifice and happiness for us. On this Eid day, Bengali housewives have a lot of work and have to spend their time busy. The same is true in my case. I am a housewife and on Eid-ul-Adha day, I have to spend my whole day busy. That is exactly what happened this year. Our cow was sacrificed on this Eid.

Anyway, I wake up in the morning, wash my hands and face, and freshen up. Then in the morning, I prepare Sunnah-style sweets for everyone. Then my husband takes a bath and comes back fresh and gives him food. Then I take Eid greetings from him. It is one of the happiest traditions in our country to receive greetings from elders in the morning on Eid.

Then I greet my in-laws and take greetings from them too. Then I eat breakfast and prepare for lunch. Meanwhile, my husband and father-in-law come after Eid prayers and prepare for our cow sacrifice. Alhamdulillah, our cow is sacrificed to please Allah, many people help in this work. Then I cook khichuri and meat for everyone and feed those who are helping in cow sacrifice in the afternoon.

Then I divide the beef meat among the poor, the needy and relatives. Apart from that, I do more work at home such as keeping the beef meat separate, keeping the cow's intestines, cooking, cleaning the house, etc. That is, I have to spend the day with a lot of work till the afternoon. Still, Alhamdulillah, I spent the Eid day very happily.

How do you like to dress your child on Eid day

This question is a little difficult for me because I don't have a child yet, but when I was a child, I spent my Eid day very happily. When I was a child, I would take a bath in the morning, eat sweets from my mother's hands, receive Eid greetings from everyone, and I would go around with my friends and go to fairs. I would be very happy. Now the children in our house behave like us.

The children in our house wash their hands and face in the morning, take a bath, freshen up, eat sweets, wear new clothes, and receive Eid greetings from us. Then I remembered my childhood. Anyway, on Eid afternoon, I went to my sister's house with my husband and I gifted my niece a dress which I liked very much. It is very nice when children wear new clothes on Eid. Anyway, I also give her Eid salami and take some pictures of her. I usually like to give children new clothes, shoes, and make them look nice on Eid.

What kind of food did you enjoy on Eid day

Just as Eid means joy, Eid also means eating the foods you like. I cook according to my family's taste. For example, in the morning, I fry two types of semai and different types of pitha for my family and cook beef and khichuri for eating around 11 am.

I think the most tempting and main dish of Eid-ul-Azha is the meat of the sacrifice. Anyway, I also cook some types of recipes with beef in the afternoon. I also cook pola to eat the meat recipes. Actually, I really like to cook different types of items on my Eid day and feed everyone.

Explain where you went on Eid day

It is very difficult for housewives to go on Eid day. Because on this Eid day, housewives have a lot of work. At this time, they do not even get time to take a little rest, so going on a trip is like a dream. However, if someone's family helps the housewife with the Eid day's work, then of course she can go on a trip in the afternoon.

The same thing happened with me. My mother-in-law and my husband helped me a lot with my work on Eid day. That's why I was able to complete my Qurbani day's work in the afternoon. After that, my husband took me for a trip near my house and took my pictures. I think that no matter where we go, there is no greater joy than spending a good time with our loved ones. Since I was able to go on a trip near my house with my husband in the afternoon on Eid day, this is a lot for me.
