Once payment for a post has been made, or after 3 days (in case of a $0.00 post), it cannot be edited anymore.

Doesn't this create a potential problem for the poster, especially with the many cases where legal issues are involved, ie, libel, or where a post is requested to be removed or the poster would be subject to a lawsuit? In my case this does not apply, but I'm always thinking of possible situations that could affect others.

that's a very good question and valid point sir @selfishinvesting !
I honestly do not know if there is such a mechanism in place for these situation, perhaps you could inquire in Steemit's Slack channels ? :)

I've had similar problems trying to edit after just 18 hours. I was editing as a comment made me reflect on the question I was asking ... Maybe just bugs in the system? last_payout == fc::time_point_sec::min():

Based on what I know, it would kind of be like if you already committed a crime like selling illegal items, etc. meaning when the crime has been committed it’s committed

I made mistakes with my tags, and that is my crime commited forever and cant change it...
