XMR is the cryptonote which is integrated highly privacy information (RingCT) for the users/holders, its functional totally kept your identity saved through any transactions.

• The anonimous (Full Anonim) crypto that nobody can access your total XMR assets/transaction log.
• It can be used as payment method on market place (especially in dark market) which is mean no one will identified your privacy.
• Its kept your secret (assets/log/transactions) that no one can access it.
• Its also mineable coin as cryptonight method, you can mining XMR on your own ways. (The popular Monero mining site is Minergate)
• XMR total supply provided doesn't like many other coin (large amount), as it will be the chances for the prices pump.
• Supported community through mining as the BTC does, this will make Monero advanced as BTC and another mineable coin.

The Cons:

• XMR used as the darknet market place (eg. AlphaBay) as payment method, which is will make it over-watched by the goverment.
• The allocated supply doesn't like other coin (Large Amount) as it will make the prices ket it up by the time public demanded filled steadily.
• The XMR popularity on Darknet will stuck its spread in the future cause by the goverment regulations.
• XMR transaction spent bigger than BTC, as it will spent too much block.
• The anonimous system can be compromised which means while its been hacked, the hacker handled part of assets on the network.

As the following review about Monero (XMR) has pros & cons, we can take some short defines that XMR is worth to owned caused by its functional on the blockchain world, such as payment method on marketplace (Althougt Darknet Market), and also XMR is mineable coin, by this time you can also searching many XMR coin that already fork such as XMO. Is it XMR worth to invest? By the time you learn the orientation on XMR project and several features inside, I think Monero is worth to own through trading/exchange.
