- The founder of the Czech National Council (November 1915) and organizer of the Czech Legion in Russia, Tomá Garrigue Masaryk, concludes an agreement with the US-Slovak leaders to ensure that the Slovaks are given full autonomy within the framework of the future Czechoslovak state.
- The insurgent Cossacks in southern Russia are defeated with the decisive cooperation of Soviet commissioners Josef W. Stalin and Kliment J. Voroshilov. As a result, the railway connection Zaryzin (Volgograd) - Moscow gets back into Bolshevist hands.
- In Dusseldorf, the fourth "Patriotic fighting games" of the German "Association of sports clubs" instead.
