- The MSPD politician Hermann Müller was commissioned following the Kapp Putsch with forming a new government. On March 27, an MSPD / center / DDP coalition cabinet takes up its work. In Prussia there is a new government under Prime Minister Otto Braun (MSPD).

  • Against the leading persons of the Kapp Putsch of 13 March arrest warrant is issued. However, Wolfgang Kapp and Walther Freiherr von Lüttwitz can evade arrest by fleeing.

  • Burgtheater in Vienna Arthur Schnitzler's drama "The sisters or Casanova in Spa" premiered.
