- The British government prohibits all organizations of the Irish party Sinn Fein. The radical nationalist party fighting since 1905 for the independence of Ireland, which is under British rule.
/n- Against the votes of MSPD and USPD the Prussian state meeting in Berlin rejects the request of the Independent Socialists to declare November 9 a national holiday and pick up the Day of Atonement as a legal holiday.
/n- Spanish Foreign Minister Salvador Bermúdez de Castro y O'Lawlor declared in Madrid that his country could not maintain friendly relations with Soviet Russia, which was also shown by the storming of the Spanish Embassy in Petrograd (Leningrad) no friendly attitude.
/n- In a by-election to the House in Plymouth, the conservative candidate Nancy Witcher Astor is elected. She is the first female MPs in the House.
/n- The Grosses Schauspielhaus in Berlin will open with the "Oresteia" by Aeschylus in the staging of Max Reinhardt.
