Sunset from Holyrood Park 🌄
I spent a few weeks back home in the late Autumn. I come from Duddingston, a former village suburb dating back to 1093 - it has since been swallowed up by Edinburgh’s expansion. It lays on the edge of Holyrood Park, a 700-hundred-acre playground which features a dormant volcano, natural lochs and coconut-scented yellow Gorse cliffs. I feel so lucky to come from such a green place and yet remain so close to Edinburgh’s heart. You can also see the Pentland Hills to the south of the city.
