Klaksvík, The Second Largest Town in the Faroe Islands
As just a small dot on the map it can be difficult to explore the islands, but despite this, it is easy to fly there from Edinburgh. This photo was taken from the port town of Klaksvík on the island of Borðoy, one of the most northerly settlements. Unlike Bina's home island of Viðoy, this island is much bigger with a population of more than 5000 people, of which approximately 4700 live in Klaksvík.
