Calvinism in Context
It is probably time that this view be given fresh yes and reevaluated on its practical theology, rather than brushed aside as a controversy mill. No good theology comes without collision against preconceived ideas and beliefs in regards to exegtical interpretation, and Calvin was no different. Noone brushes off Luther, Jonathan Edwards, John Knox, or Charles Spurgeon; in what regard is it just to make an exegete a pariah because his schema grinds against modern and postmodern conceptions of equity and equality? It is high time that this theologian is given the recognition that he is due.
