Yesterday, I was required to go to the market to purchase some stuff for my home.
Foremost, I went to the ATM as I did not have cash.
After that, I reached to purchase some vegetables.
A boy around 15 years old came to me and he was holding a jar filled with colorful toffee.
He requested me to purchase some toffee so that he can buy baby food for his little brother.
I do not have an interest in having toffee so I asked him which baby food you needed for your brother?
He took me to a medical shop and showed me Lactogen(the name of the company).
I paid the amount and purchased that baby food for him.
He informed me that his father is an alcoholic, and he sells toffee and maintains his family.
I need to purchase clarified butter which costs almost the same amount as baby food but I skipped it because I don't have extra money.
I thought baby food was more essential, instead of my clarified butter!
Though I came back home without clarified butter from inside my heart was filled with joy. At least the almighty selected me to serve as a needy.
So, today I thought I to share a poem with you all. What should I name this poem, I think I should go with the name

I am needy but not greedy!
I am fighting alone each day;
But I believe the almighty is with me!
Whatever I deserve, the Almighty will pay.
Though I do not have any power;
Yet, I am soggy with the love
of the shower!
I like to be candid in front of you God;
Protect me from those oh my lord
who hold grudges or commit fraud!
You created us to enlighten the earth;
We forget our duty
and the reason behind our birth!
I can see how people changing,
Love to accomplish back bitching!
Only love to show off forgery flanks
Are they aware?
You are observing their deeds!
And fulfilling their karma's tanks.
I have a desire for the
upcoming year!
Blessed me to stroll
on the path of honesty
without any greed or fear.
I can lift my voice,
I can take the correct stand,
I can stay beside those who are
of your choice!
I want to stay beside the needy;
Without expecting anything in return,
Or being myself greedy.

আপমি বাচচাটিকে ল্যাকটোজেন কিনে দিয়েছেন শুনে মনটা ভালো হয়ে গেল।
এটা পড়ে আমার নিজের মায়ের কথা মনে পরে গেল।আমার মাকে দেখেছি আমাদের বাসায় কাজ করতো আমি তাকে কাকি বলতাম যে এখনো মায়ের মতোই স্নেহ করে, তার ছেলেকে এই ল্যাকটোজেন কিনে দিত।
মা প্রতিদিন সকালে ভাত রান্না করতো তার জন্য আর বলতো ও তিনটা বাসায় কাজ করে এসে ভাত রান্না করবে তারপর খাবে। তারচেয়ে আমিই গ্যাসের চুলায় কটা চাল ধুয়ে বসিয়েইতো দেই, আরতো কোন কস্ট করি না।কিন্তু ওতো এই ভাত বাসায় নিয়ে ছেলেদের নিয়ে খেতে পারে। আসলে এই জিনিসগুলো ভেতর থেকে আসতে হয় নাহলে সম্ভব না।আমরা দৈনন্দিন জীবনে শুধু শখ পূরনের জন্য অনেক অপ্রয়োজনীয় জিনিস কিনি। সেগুলো না হলে কিছুই আসে যায় না।অথচ এই অপ্রয়োজনীয় খরচ না করে যদি সবাই সাধ্যমতো তার পাশের মানুষটাকে সাহায্য করতো তাহলে পৃথিবীটা অনেক সুন্দর হতো।
সৃস্টিকর্তা আপনাকে ভালো কাজের প্রতিদান দিক।
ভালো থাকবেন সবসময়।

We support quality posts and comments!দারুন একটা কবিতা আজকে আপনি আমাদের সাথে উপস্থাপন করেছেন। আমাদের যা কিছু প্রয়োজন সৃষ্টিকর্তাই পূরণ করে থাকে। তবে আপনি ছেলেটাকে সাহায্য করেছেন এটা জানতে পেরে আমি খুব খুশি হয়েছি। আপনি একদমই সঠিক সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছেন। আমি যদি আপনার জায়গায় থাকতাম। তাহলে আপনার মত করেই সিদ্ধান্ত নিতাম। আমি সর্বদাই চেষ্টা করি আমার সাধ্য অনুযায়ী মানুষকে সাহায্য করার জন্য।
আমরা যদি একটু চেষ্টা করি তাহলে নিজেরা অনেক মানুষকে সাহায্য করতে পারি। যেমনটা আপনি করেছেন। আসলে আপনি নিজের একটা বাজার না কিনে ছেলেটাকে সাহায্য করেছেন। কখনোই অহংকার করা উচিত নয়। নিজের যা আছে সেই টুকু দিয়ে হলেও রাস্তার পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা, এবং অভাবে আছে যারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করা উচিত। আপনি ছোট বাচ্চার জন্য অনেক দিনের খাবার জোগাড় করে দিয়েছেন। সেজন্য আপনাকে অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ।
আপনি ১৫ বছরের ঐ ছেলেটাকে ল্যাকটোজেন কিনে দিয়ে একদম সঠিক কাজ করেছেন। ছেলেটা যথেষ্ট আত্মমর্যাদা সম্পন্ন, তাই সে ভিক্ষাবৃত্তি অবলম্বন না করে টফি বিক্রি করছে। আপনার জায়গায় থাকলে সামর্থ্যে কুলালে আমি অবশ্যই ঐ ছেলেটাকে সাহায্য করতাম আর আগে এমনটা বহুবার করেছি কিন্তু বর্তমানে আমার আর্থিক অবস্থা শোচনীয়। আপনার কবিতাটি বাস্তবধর্মী এবং খুব সুন্দর হয়েছে। আমি ভগবানের কাছে প্রার্থনা করি আপনার সকল অভিপ্রায় যেন উনি পূর্ণ করেন।
It is a great gesture from your side to choose to help a child to feed his sibling and do without buying for you what you wanted.

As I always believe,
there is an enormous difference;
between being a human being and being human.
That is one reason I didn't take a picture of the boy and the activity because when we do anything selflessly, we must not highlight it.
We must take a stand for those who are in need. At least I learned that from my practical experience and after working for three NGOs.
