Bears and Chairs

Many years ago I bought two little Boyds hat bears at a gift shop in Minnesota. I gave one to my sister for a souvenir from the trip, and kept the other for myself. Those two bears were the beginning of a collection for each of us. I ended up with eight hat bears and about two dozen other-sized bears, while my sister accumulated so many bears, I lost count!

And then I acquired an assortment of little chairs and benches that suit bears quite well. None of my small hat bears happen to be in this photo, but this is the gang that fits into the chairs nicely.

I don't consider myself to be skilled in decor. I once asked my sister, "Why is it that you put bears around your house and it looks like decor, while I put bears around my house and it just looks like bears around the house?"

Even if they just look like bears around the house, I still like them!
