You reflect my thoughts

You dissected my dreams

You shared my strengths

You merged my falts

Your beautiful mind

understood my flaws

more than even I

Because I was you

The embodiment of

The person you supress

The risk taker

The life escaper

The dreamer

The free of thought

Outside the box

Of society

But life had broke you down

And forced you to play ball

A risk is what i represent

And the mirror you resent

Caged by responsibility

No room for mobility

You weren't brave enough

To take a tumble

Down the rabbit hole

With me

You told me you were

Scared to love me

You were scared to be happy

Scared to be yourself

So you put me back

On the shelf
