Cool. Love how the little story matches up in a way to the idea that you drew this pic without much planning. lol So it's like you were the guy who was trying to remember the lady and manage to draw her out from memory.
Hehehe that is the effect that I'm trying to create here :D.
I want to make a sketch that looks like it is made by someone who does not usually draw and the scrambled lines are showing his frustration for not being able to remember the other details that he saw in his dream.

Is she a manic pixie dream girl? XD and that's kind of creepy but good that he's drawing comfort from it? And makes sense he'd be closer to a girl that's reliably around even if just in dreams than a mother who was absent for longer than present. Unless the dream girl is a younger version of the mother 😲
I think all your stuff looks pretty good now, it's going to be phenomenal at some indeterminate point in the future.

I think I would be freaking out if I am him and not feeling any kind of comfort at all, dreaming about the same person again and again even though he doesn't know who she is.... is it actually possible that she is his mother?!!! :O
