Dont be afraid to use other softwares, if you had achieved to use one, specially photoshop, you will find yourself learning the software faster. Sai is easier to understand, it has that STABILIZER option that makes drawing easier. Watch youtube videos, personally, Im new to digital art. I just bought my wacom a month ago? I think its 1 and a half month ago.
owooooooooooooh i love this in colours, @scrawly !!!! very nice !!! i love the glow of the lamp and how it cast a mystical lighting over the picture <3 the treasure mountains looks golden and endless * ___ * alladin's face is wrapped up in curious intensity as he rubbed the lamp * __ * and that lovely magic carpet is so lovely in its rich, blue threads <3
I know this probably wasn't intentional but I like how one of the corner's of carpet is slightly raised to Aladdin indicating carpet's like "hey man be careful..."
But being funny isn't required for the contest: that's why we have a separate "humor" category. All you have to do is have an image with a message that is simplified.
Use paint tool sai, ps sucks for drawing. Ps is just good for editing. I also use intuos. Wanted a cintiq but they are really hard to find here.
I guess I'm used to Photoshop, other art programs are a bit unwieldy since I have to relearn stuff.

Hahaha you're right. I was thinking about how helpful magic carpet was in the movie when I drew this, so maybe that's what it wanted to say XD.
