Big 3 Basketball League Update and Rules
Week three of The Big 3 basketball league continued on Sunday as it traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma. The self-proclaimed American professional half court, 3 on 3 basketball league has former NBA All-Stars Allen Iverson, Mike Bibby, and Rashard Lewis playing. It also has several other former NBA players including fan favorite, Jason Williams, aka White Chocolate, who was one of the best ball handlers and passers in the history of the NBA. Williams played most of his career with the Sacramento Kings and was part of some phenomenal teams with Chris Webber. High flying dunker, Ricky Davis, is also in the league and can still dunk with authority. Veteran forward, Josh Smith, isn't moving as well. And previously mentioned Allen Iverson is a player/coach and has been tiring quickly.
The league was created by rapper/actor Ice Cube. The Big 3 is in a different city each week and it's finally will be in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena on August 26th. There are 8 teams mostly made up of former professional basketball players. The first two weeks of the Big 3 have come in Brooklyn and Charlotte. After Sunday's games in Tulsa, it heads to major metropolises such as Philadelphia, Chicago and Dallas. There are also stops in L.A. and Seattle before the championship in Vegas.
