Pretty Little Creature
As a diver and photographer living in the Pacific Northwest I have spent many hours combing the ocean looking for as many of it tiny inhabitants as I can. I a bit of a mild obsession. Diving in these waters is difficult its colder, darker and you require much more gear than you do in warmer places, but I love it.
Because of these difficulties many of the place that I visit are rarely seen by others and almost never photographed. The animals that reside there in some case have only been seen and recorded once ever. The image above is one such creature. Its a Townsend's eualid. A type of shrimp that lives for the most part in places that most people never venture due to it not being all that colourful or filled with life. Bad visibility, and brown, boring sandy bottoms are the norm for these places. But for me it's another place to find something new update outdated images and maybe, just maybe find something that no one has seen before.
Who know pick a spot on a map and go for a dip. Your almost always going to enjoy it!
Thanks for reading and have a great Thursday.
Scott

I wish I could take underwater photography, that’s my goal. One day I will and will be asking you all sorts of questions on how to 😬☺️
This creature so cute, seems to be a sea creature
