Fear - Halloween Edition

Halloween comes around each year and everyone dress up as ghost and goblins. Watches scary movies like Saw and Nightmare on Elm Street. We celebrate the things that scare.

My experience with fear is through the students I've trained as a scuba diving instructor and how terrified people are of water especially cold dark water. Drowning is a real fear and to help one of my students get over his fear of water and teach him how to dive we did a photoshoot.

He danced and played slowly becoming more and more accustomed to the the water. Eventually he even enjoyed it. Today he swims and when he comes to visit we go for a dive.

Sometimes you just need the right circumstance and the right situation to over come what frightens you.
