Early Morning Refections

Waking up to the birds chirping and the tent a wash in golden light is a perfect moment, open the tent door and looking out over the lake and just taking a breath in the cool morning air. So relaxing, so perfect.

Backing packing and camping on Vancouver Island can be a surreal and life altering experience. Saviour these moments, they are worth it.

I was thinking this was the Pacific Northwest; the water has that look to it as do the trees. Seems like everything has more blue when you get farther north. I bet the air is so fresh and clean that it hurts! Lovely moment!
