Commonwealth Games - Triathlon Relay
Triathlon Relay GOLD!
So I was sitting around today thinking.... 'What should I do?'
Maybe I should walk just down the road and watch the Triathlon Relay seeing as the Commonwealth Games are in town. So my wife and I walked down and watched the race and I have to say, it was pretty electrifying actually....
The support for all the athletes by the people lining the course was fantastic. Obviously the Aussie's were cheered the most, but all of the teams were given encouragement by the crowd.
The format for the relay is:
- 4 athletes per team, 2 male and 2 female
- the race order was female, male, female, male
- 250 metre swim
- 7km bike ride
- 1.5km run
It made for a quick and frenetic race which was great to watch as a spectator.
And the winner was....... Australia, followed by England 30 seconds behind.
That's event one for the Commonwealth Games, what will be next?

I was watching most of this before I had to go out and do some actual fitness stuff myself. I really liked the format and how close it was between the Aussies and Brits. Glad we held onto the lead we had when I left
I sport all players who participate this games. I like Commonwealth games. Congragulation Australia and his players. Welldone all players.
