POEM/Help Us

How many days gone?
Yet you are still very sad.
I spoke soft and polite,
You replied low and cold.
My gestures of saying "I'm sorry",
Were, with the cold looks of your eyes, pushed away.
What just happened to us?

You're dwelling in the past..,
My mistakes, I'm now an outcast.
I know you are fast..,
So please, help us survive this blast.

If we keep fighting all day,
Then sleep at night facing each other away.
We will have nothing to say,
When next we feel the warm of the sun rays.
Find a way to at least forgive,
Even if you can't forget.
Or don't you know life's short?

So, why dwelling in my past?
Am I now an outcast?
I know you are fast..,
So please, help us to survive this blast.
