DailyCelestialChallenge - Moonlight
The moonlight breakdowns up on the capital's vaults,
And sprays lengthwise paved steel and stone,
Upon the dirtiness of a billion families,
Doleful in static drone.
Upon the garments behind the residence,
That suspend like ghosts postponed from the lines,
Connecting each plane to each uncaring,
Inconsistent and bizarre the moonlight shines.
There is no fairy-tale from your occurrence here,
Ho, moon, sad moon, fold up your sprawling coat,
Whose silver seems historic and so simple
In contradiction of the glow of one electronic sphere.
Go spill your loveliness on the smiling looks
Of joyful flowers that blossom a thousand sorts,
To come on sneaks in the wilding spaces,
To pick-me-up your lavender mixed with sugary drafts of droplets.
