Protip: Your Art Has No Objective Value; it's Only Worth What Someone is Voluntarily Willing to Pay for It
Ever noticed how the most arrogant artists are the ones with the shittiest art? I wonder if this is because these are the people who have never actually sat down to think if there's something they could improve on.
They just assume they're perfect.
And before someone gets all "Well, your content sucks, too!" I know. I've never unironically claimed otherwise. My rewards have been just as unjustified as anyone else's.
I can say it.
That's the difference.
That art is worth nothing is an important lesson for every artist. That you have to pretend that it is, is an important lesson for every professional artist.
your art does not suck though, also. you're brilliant and talented and amazing.

She is brillant but always thinks her drawings are shit..

I will say this, though. The Dunning–Kruger effect works in such a way that low-skilled people often overvalue their ability, whereas highly skilled undervalue theirs.
So, it's more likely that someone who doesn't value their work, actually is talented.
The arrogant ones are usually the ones who are also the least talented.
This post denies the prolific gatekeepers which control the art and entertainment industry. It happens to a lesser extent in sports, too, but it's easier to gauge sport so the gatekeeping; although there, happens in a different way.
