Mega Man X2 Speedrunning IL: Bubble Crab

Mega Man X2 is my favorite speedgame in the series, and Bubble Crab's stage is my favorite speed stage in the game. So I quite like this one.

I love how smooth the stage is when done right. Basically, everything you do has some sort of interesting or fun speed tech attached to it, and it's all in all very mechanical, with no RNG getting in the way of execution.

It's mostly wide open space, and the most challenging part is getting the slope jump jazz done right. But despite the open area, the stage has a ton of small optimizations here and there.

Also, the music is glorious.
