Contemplating on Getting a PS3 - Will Accept Game Recommendations!
I strolled through a local Gamestop yesterday during lunch break, and asked a price on a PS3, and it turns out they have a 500gb model on sale for 60 bucks.
I don't currently own a "modern" game console - I own NES, SNES, GBA and Nintendo DS and stuff, and an XBox somewhere, my PS2 gives out Disc Read Error - so I thought I might grab it. I'm not so into modern gaming that I'd shill out the money for PS4 or XBox One, but 60 bucks for PS3 sounds pretty good.
If you're into gaming, feel free to recommend games. I know I will buy the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, as well as MGS4, but other than that, I'm open for suggestions.
I'm into story driven games, not a big FPS fan, some good driving games I also like. But games with good stories and atmosphere are my number one thing.
Also, some games are available for both PS3 and PS4, are the PS3 versions worth getting in general? Do they differ in other than the graphics?

PC Master race. I wouldn't know much about PS3 games.
Ah, right. Well, me too, most of the time. But I thought I might step into the game of semi-modern console gaming.
I guess I'll grab Human Revolution, at the very least.
Don't step there. PS 3 can't even serve as a coffee table :) Joking aside if you feel the urge go for it, but my guess is that you will get bored very fast.
It's 60 bucks. Also, I want the MGS collection anyway.
I might be living in golden days of nostalgy, but Okami HD is a really interesting game with fun themes and cool gameplay.
