Two Completely Pointless but Equally Cool Mega Man X Discoveries I Made

As a kid, I always wondered about these, but was never able to pull them off. And that led me to believe these were impossible to do.

But like I always say: nothing's impossible if you're stupid enough to keep ramming your head to a wall for long enough.

Using a precise 7-pixel wall kick, I have now concluded that it possible to obtain the body armor and helmet upgrade in X1 without the use of the dash boots.

Not something the developers intended to be possible, but hey.

And despite the fact that they don't look like much, these are an absolute bitch to pull off.
