Eat me!

This beautiful flower (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knautia_arvensis) will probably spend quite a while in my garden. The achenes, which are nutty seeds, are capable of germination for more than 35 years! It is also known under the name of Skabiose. Its petals can be eaten raw and are perfect for colorful quark or similar. We are approaching with four pictures to all of their beauty!

Diese schöne Blume (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acker-Witwenblume) wird wohl noch eine ganze Zeit in meinem Garten verbringen. Ihre Achänen, das sind nußartige Samen, sind bis über 35 Jahre keimfähig! Bei uns ist sie auch unter dem Namen Skabiose bekannt. Ihre Blütenblätter können roh gegessen werden und eignen sich hervorragend zu buntem Quark oder ähnlichem. Wir nähern uns mit vier Bildern ihrer ganzen Schönheit an!
